Our home away from home will be the stunning Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort tucked along the waterfront in downtown Victoria's Inner Harbour. Walk in minutes to the best restaurants, shops, and breweries. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a recently renovated fitness centre and tennis, squash and racquetball courts, along with a full-service spa.
We have secured a VERY discounted rate of $130 CDN per night. We are committed to a block of rooms at the hotel and all Tuesday workshops, Friday workshops, and casual socializing will occur at the hotel (as well as all transportation). To book your room please click here. Please make your booking ASAP and note that room availability and price cannot be guaranteed past December 15.
If you would like to have us try and find you a roommate to split lodging costs, please indicate this on the registration form and we will do our best to pair you with other suitable attendees.
NOTE: All non-Canadian citizens will require a valid passport to visit Victoria!
Known as the “Garden City,” Victoria is one of the world’s most beautiful cities, located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island off Canada's Pacific coast. There is much to do in and around Victoria and if you have the time to add a day or two, you will not regret it.
When making your travel arrangements please plan to be at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort in time to check in and be ready to go no later than 4:45 p.m. on 1/16/18 (unless you are taking part in an earlier pre-conference workshop or activity) and that your departure plans do not require you to leave prior to 12:30 p.m. on 1/19/18. Please know that we value your participation at the ISEEN Institute, but it is critical for you to arrive on time and leave on time. Arriving late or leaving early, not only diminishes the quality of your experience but also the shared experience of your peers. If you know that you cannot manage the full schedule, please consider joining us at a future institute.
Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is serviced by most major airlines. You should estimate about 30-45 minutes to get to the hotel, depending on time of day and traffic. There are taxi and shuttle options you can read about here.
Another option is to fly into Seattle Airport (SEA) and then take the high-speed Clipper Ferry through Puget Sound to Victoria’s Inner Harbor (steps from the host hotel). The ferry takes just under three hours and is a beautiful ride. The hotel shuttle will pick up/drop off at the Clipper station, minutes from the hotel.
Directions to the Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort can be found here.
Directions to St. Michaels University School can be found here (Richmond Street campus).
All major rental car agencies are based out of Victoria’s airport. We advise that you only rent a car if absolutely necessary as the hotel is in a perfect walking location to access almost everything Victoria has to offer and shuttle transportation from/to the hotel will be provided to all Institute events.
Rideshare programs such as Uber and Lyft do not currently operate in British Columbia.
Parking at the hotel will be discounted to $9 CDN per day for ISEEN attendees.
