Who Should Attend

The ISEEN Board of Directors has adopted the following policy regarding attendance/registration at ISEEN Institutes:

  1. Individuals must be in a direct professional relationship with an independent school (working for an independent school experiential education program, or be an administrator at an independent school with extensive experiential education programming), and/or
  2. Individuals must be presenting a workshop at the Institute (as organized by the Institute Committee), and/or
  3. Individuals must be committed educators whose expertise and knowledge will help advance the cause of experiential education within independent schools.

Note to Non-School Attendees:

Because space at the Institute is so limited, and we consistently have a wait list of independent school educators hoping to attend, we need to favor the attendance of participants representing the unique working environments and challenges of independent schools. To that end, we need to limit the space available to non-school registrants to five spaces (through the early bird registration time frame). In order to help us select the most appropriate fit for the institute, please complete the "Application for Non School Attendees" by September 1st for consideration of one of these spots. All applicants will be notified of decisions by September 30th.

Individuals whose business includes, or might include the selling of services to independent schools will not be permitted to promote their services or organization at ISEEN Institutes (through the distribution of marketing materials, touting of their services/programs, emails to attendees, etc.). All interested attendees must understand that their role (and intention) at the conference is that of an educator.
